President Donald Trump announced that the next UFC event at the White House will take place on June 14th, coinciding with his 80th birthday. Originally planned for July 4th, the mixed martial arts event will be held on the White House grounds. Trump made this announcement while speaking to military personnel at Naval Base Norfolk, Virginia. UFC CEO Dana White had previously mentioned the move to June but has now confirmed a specific date. The event is a special card celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States and is not centered around Trump himself.

No fight lineups have been disclosed yet. Conor McGregor has actively promoted the idea of competing at the White House event through media appearances and online, claiming negotiations with the White House were underway. However, Dana White refuted these claims during the UFC 320 post-fight press conference, stating that talks with the White House won’t begin until February and that nothing has been finalized yet. White acknowledged McGregor’s eagerness to participate but confirmed no official discussions have taken place.

White promised an extraordinary event, calling it potentially “the best fight card ever.” His main focus at the moment is securing a strong debut for the UFC’s new exclusive media partnership with Paramount, aiming to deliver an impressive fight card in January. After that, efforts will turn to building up the White House event, which White guarantees will be the biggest in UFC history.

It was also revealed that the UFC will spend around $700,000 to repair damage to the South Lawn caused by production setups for this event. White admitted this will be the most challenging show they have ever put together.
