Manchester United are ready to take on top clubs in their bid to sign FC Midtjylland’s attacking sensation Franklino Dju.

The Guinea-Bissau striker has been in great form this season and his performances are attracting attention. The European giants could enter a fierce transfer battle to sign Midtjylland’s star.

Tottenham are also interested in signing Franklino.

According to Tipsbladet, Manchester United are keen to sign him. The Premier League giants are in the race to sign him, and will compete with the likes of Everton and Bayern Munich to sign him.

The 21-year-old striker has been in great form this season, scoring 19 goals and providing three assists in 28 games in all competitions. He has emerged as one of the most promising forwards in all of Europe and it is no wonder there is interest in his services.

The Red Devils are on the market for a new striker, with Joshua Zirkzee’s long-term future uncertain, and have identified Franklino Dju as an interesting option to strengthen their attacking line-up.

He will be able to help them both in the short and long term. However, Manchester United will have to battle the likes of Everton and Bayern Munich to secure his availability. The Toffees have had a long-standing interest in him and want him as an upgrade to Beto.

Meanwhile, the German club sees him as an interesting long-term option. They have an interesting project in the works and could definitely rival the Red Devils from a financial perspective.

Midtjylland will be asking around €35 million for the 21-year-old, so it will be interesting to see whether Manchester United are willing to spend that much money on a player with limited top-level experience.
