Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea have established contacts to sign Arsenal target Serhau Guirassi.

The Guinean striker has been in the spotlight since joining Borussia Dortmund, with his impressive performances for the German club attracting attention. Several top clubs across Europe are looking to sign him from the Bundesliga giants.

According to a report in Fichajes newspaper, Chelsea have entered the race to sign Selou Guirassy. They have already established contacts with a view to signing the 29-year-old, who is on rivals Arsenal’s wishlist. With London’s two giants keen to sign him, he could become involved in a fierce transfer battle.

Ghirashi had an impressive performance in his last debut and carried that form into the new season. The 29-year-old striker has made 17 appearances so far, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.

Special provisions of the Selhou Guirassi contract

His contract with Dortmund runs until the summer of 2028, but there are several top clubs looking to sign him next summer. According to reports, his contract includes an exclusive release clause of 50 million euros with certain clubs.

This special clause has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, two of which are Chelsea and Arsenal. The Gunners have been monitoring him for several weeks ahead of a potential move.

Despite signing Victor Goqueres last summer, Mikel Arteta is looking for more firepower as he looks to upgrade Kai Havertz and the injury-prone Gabriel Jesus.

The north London club will face a tough battle with rivals Chelsea, who have already established contact with representatives. The Blues are trying to understand the terms of the 29-year-old’s contract. They tried to sign him a few months ago as well.

Maresca’s team invested in a young striker last summer, but the move didn’t quite work out. As a result, they are looking to Guirassi as a more experienced and proven player to strengthen their attack.
