Tottenham are stepping up their pursuit of Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo ahead of the January transfer window.
Semenyo remains a highly sought-after player, with top clubs in the Premier League, including Tottenham, vying for his signature heading into the transfer window.

Tottenham intensify pursuit of Antoine Semenyo
According to the latest report from Sky Sports, Spurs have reignited their interest and are now stepping up their pursuit.
Spurs pursued Semenyo for the first half of the 2025 summer season but were put off by Bournemouth’s £70m-plus valuation.
Now that his release clause has been revealed, Spurs know they will have to pay him £60m plus £5m in bonuses to trigger the clause.
According to reports, Spurs are prepared to pay the required amount for Semenyo this time, but they face competition from City and Liverpool.
Liverpool currently face stiff competition
Previous reports have suggested that Liverpool are favorites to sign Semenyo, with Richard Hughes already in contact with Bournemouth.
It has also been reported that the player himself would prefer a move to Liverpool over his boyhood club Arsenal, with Arsenal also rumored to be interested in a move for the versatile attacker.

In addition to two London clubs, there is also strong interest from Manchester. Manchester United were reportedly turned down by manager Semenyo in the summer.
Meanwhile, The Times reported that Manchester City are also considering triggering Semenyo’s release clause in January.
Other clubs are now also willing to trigger the release clause, meaning the final decision could rest with the player himself.
Soccer Paparazzi previously explained why the player is keen to move to Liverpool rather than Arsenal.
The reason for this is “to guarantee game time.” Played main role during Salah’s absence from AFCON. Long-term succession planning. and Hughes’ direct involvement.”
However, it remains to be seen which club Semenyo will ultimately choose, with Spurs and Man City also showing strong interest.
Either way, one thing is certain: the Cherries star could leave in January this year.
