Markkanen’s strong play at an All-Star level adds to the speculation.

4. Keon Ellis (Kings): Although Sacramento’s stars dominate trade talk, the more likely trade candidate is defensive guard Keon Ellis. Despite limited playing time, his value is recognized league-wide. The Lakers are one team to watch for his acquisition. Meanwhile, Sabonis has interest from multiple teams, but LaVine’s salary makes his trade unlikely.
