  • Liverpool join Premier League rivals in Semenyo battle
  • Reds are already moving towards signing Semenyo

Antoine Semenyo’s impressive development at Bournemouth has attracted attention, with some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs now gearing up for a potential move.

According to X’s reliable sources, Liverpool and Manchester City have already agreed personal terms with the Bournemouth attacker, ensuring he will be in the front row should a permanent transfer take place.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are believed to be monitoring the situation closely, but their involvement has so far been limited to an initial investigation.

Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s most prolific players this season, scoring seven goals in the Premier League, his most recent goal coming in Monday’s 4-4 draw against Man United at Old Trafford.

The Ghanaian international, who can play on the wing or in the middle, has won praise for his work rate, direct running and developing end product.

Liverpool’s interest is thought to be driven by long-term plans in attack.

Semenyo has emerged as a top transfer target ahead of the January transfer window, with Mohamed Salah facing an uncertain future at Anfield and manager Arne Slott looking to add more depth and quality to his squad.

The race to sign him is expected to be very competitive as both Man City and Man United have a genuine interest in the attacker and are expected to formalize their interest.

Although an agreement has reportedly been reached on personal terms, Bournemouth are under no immediate pressure to sell.

The south coast club rate Semenyo highly and are keen to keep him at least until the end of the season.

The attacker has a £65m release clause in his contract, which could be triggered by a top-flight club in the Premier League, meaning Andoni Iraola’s side could consider a move.

United’s position is currently more cautious. The club is conducting a background check and investigation, but negotiations have not progressed yet.

United appear to be keeping their options open rather than committing early, as they evaluate multiple attacking profiles and balance financial priorities.
