Everton aim to strengthen their defense with the signing of Jayden Bogle from Leeds United.

According to Football Insider, they are looking to sign a quality right-back and have targeted the 25-year-old Leeds United defender. Everton regularly scout the player and have been impressed with his performances.

It will be interesting to see if they can sign the player in January.

Bogle has been an important player for Leeds United since joining in the summer of 2024. He has featured regularly in the Premier League this season and it will be interesting to see whether Leeds allow him to leave. His contract runs until 2028 and Leeds are under no pressure to let him leave.

Everton may have to pay a premium to woo them. If they can strike a deal, the 25-year-old could be the ideal long-term successor to club legend Seamus Coleman.

Everton are looking to build a strong team that can regularly finish in respectable positions. They need more depth in their defensive unit. They looked vulnerable at times.

It will be interesting to see how Bogle feels about the move to Everton. It could be a step up for him. Leeds United are fighting for survival in the Premier League, but there is no guarantee they will be in the top flight again next season. Everton, on the other hand, are more or less guaranteed to qualify for the Premier League. If there’s a concrete proposal on the table, he might want to join in.
