  • Spurs aim to move Semenyo to Man City as new forward
  • ‘Spectacular’ Yildiz could be a strong alternative to Semenyo
        • Tottenham officials say Spurs are eyeing a ‘magician’ like Hazard and sending him to the club after Semenyo’s disdain

Tottenham Hotspur are currently one of the clubs most keen to sign the ‘fantastic’ Champions League forward, but it could take a huge bid to lure the club into a sale.

Spurs aim to move Semenyo to Man City as new forward

Tottenham are looking to sign a new forward in the next transfer window, with AFC Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo among their targets, but it now looks like the Ghanaian could be linked with a move to a rival Premier League club.

Indeed, Manchester City appear to have won the race for Semenyo, with a move to the Etihad Stadium providing him with a platform to compete for major trophies.

As a result, Spurs will likely have to move on to an alternative target, although it was recently revealed that Man City ace Savinho has emerged as a likely option.

However, the Lilywhites are also considering options further afield, with TEAMtalk reporting that they are one of the clubs most keen to sign Juventus star Kenan Yildiz alongside Chelsea, with Arsenal also showing interest.

Yildiz is Tottenham’s ‘dream’ attacking target and has emerged as one of football’s ‘most exciting breakout talents’, but it could take a huge bid to force the Italian club to sell, with an £88m price tag recently touted.

The report also provides an update on the Turk’s future at Juventus, stating that the Serie A side’s new sporting director Marco Ottolini is expected to begin negotiations over a new contract and it is understood the 20-year-old wants to remain in Turin.

‘Spectacular’ Yildiz could be a strong alternative to Semenyo

It’s a shame that Tottenham seem to have missed out on Semenyo, as he has already proven himself in England, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 16 Premier League games this season.

However, the Juventus star has proved he can be a solid replacement this season, with five goals and four assists in 15 Serie A games.

Tottenham officials say Spurs are eyeing a ‘magician’ like Hazard and sending him to the club after Semenyo’s disdain

Spurs are in desperate need of a new left winger.

Scout Jacek Kulig also waxed lyrical about the German-born star, praising his “brilliant independence” ability that he has shown since making his breakthrough at Juventus.

Yildiz is Tottenham’s biggest signing at £88 million, but there are strong indications he could be an exciting long-term addition to Thomas Frank’s side.
