Jackson Traveler, a multiple Grade 3 winner, is set to begin his stud career at A&A Ranch in Anthony, New Mexico for the 2026 breeding season.

The 7-year-old colt, sired by Mannings, was acquired by West Point Thoroughbreds for $140,000 at the 2020 Ocala Breeders Sales Company Spring 2-Year-Old Horse Training Sale. Throughout his racing career, he was trained by Steve Asmussen until a surgery marked the end of his active racing days.

As a juvenile, Jackson Traveler remained undefeated in three races, highlighted by a victory at the Maryland Juvenile Futurity at Laurel Park. In his 3-year-old season, he started at Oaklawn Park, finishing second in the Gazebo Stakes before returning to win the Listed Bachelor Stakes, as well as the Star de Nascla Stakes at Pimlico Racecourse during the summer.

He achieved his first graded stakes win at Pimlico, capturing the Grade 3 Maryland Sprint Stakes the following year. After beginning his 5-year-old season on the East Coast, Jackson Traveler was relocated to the Southwest, where he triumphed in the Zia Park Sprint Stakes.

In his final two seasons at ages 6 and 7, Jackson Traveler continued his success with wins in the Grade 3 Whitmore Stakes, Bill Thomas Memorial Stakes, Fort Roman Stakes at Oaklawn Park, the Bliss Stakes at Sunland Park, David M. Vance Stakes at Remington Park, and the 2nd Annual Zia Park Sprint.

Over six seasons, Jackson Traveler competed in 27 races, securing 13 victories and earning a total of $1,131,643.

Bred in Maryland by Dr. and Mrs. A. Leonard Pineau, Jackson Traveler is out of the stakes-winning mare Listen Boy, with a pedigree that includes Grade 3 winner Keys to the Heart and Grade 1 competitor Lahey Doll.

His proven track record across various tracks and conditions could influence breeding strategies and invigorate competition within the sport.
