Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan defender Davide Baltessagi.

The 19-year-old has established himself as an important player for the Italian club and Arsenal will be keeping an eye on his progress. According to a report from MilanLive, Arsenal are willing to pay €25 million to finalize the deal. However, their approach was repelled. The Italian team has no intention of allowing the defender to leave.

Baltessaghi is an elite talent and AC Milan believe he can be a star in the future. They don’t want to lose players too soon. It will be interesting to see whether Arsenal decide to make a lucrative offer to finalize the deal.

They have shown great interest in signing the talented defender in recent windows. They have a good defensive unit at their disposal and will be looking to improve even further. Baltessagi would be a great long-term investment for them. It would be a huge coup for them if they could sign him for a fee of around 25 million euros. They are looking to build a team for the future and it makes sense that they would want elite young players.

The defender is unlikely to be forced to leave his boyhood club anytime soon. Arsenal would need to agree a deal with Milan in order for the move to materialize. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops in the coming months. Milan do not want to sell the player in January, so any potential move may have to wait until the summer transfer window.

Milan will want the defender to remain at the club and establish himself as one of the best players in the league in his position.
