Tiger Woods, born Eldrick Tonto Woods on December 30, 1975 to Earl Woods and Kurtida Woods, is widely considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all time.
According to his official website, Woods, who began his professional career in 1996 at just 20 years old, has 106 wins worldwide, 82 on the PGA Tour, and 15 in majors.
Throughout his career, Woods has broken record after record. After winning the 2000 British Open at St. Andrews, Woods became the youngest person to complete a career Grand Slam of major professional championships, and only the fifth in history. In 2001, he became the first person to hold all four at the same time.
