Following a three-way title battle at the final 2025 F1 race in Abu Dhabi, McLaren’s Lando Norris won his first world championship just two points behind four-time reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen, with Norris’ McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri a further 11 points behind in third place.
Prize money is awarded based on points in F1, but will Norris’ 2025 crown make him the season’s outstanding driver? Or was it Verstappen’s relentless pursuit of the McLaren duo, winning six of the last nine Grands Prix that took him to the top? At RACER, let us know who’s the star of the season by voting for your 2025 Formula 1 Driver of the Year.
Your vote matters, but maybe it’s for Norris or Verstappen? Did Piastri’s breakout season make a big difference for you? How about George Russell taking Mercedes to two GP wins? Or did Charles Leclerc drive his not-so-great Ferrari SF-25 to the incredible polar regions of Hungary?
Which F1 rookie are you most impressed with? Will anyone help Isaac Hajjar get the Racing Bulls to the podium in Zandvoort? Or is Carlos Sainz and his inspired late-season surge separating Williams from the midfield pack?
It’s your call and your vote. I can’t wait to find out who comes out on top.
