Leicester City signed Jordan James on loan from Rennes at the start of the season and the midfielder has been in great form for the team.
The 21-year-old is currently the top midfield scorer in the Championship with seven goals, and the Foxes will be hoping he can continue to perform at a high level and help them finish the season on a high.
There were rumors that the French team might be considering bringing him back to the club in January, given his recent form. However, Leicester City manager Marti Sifuentes has such concerns as he has indicated that the player will continue to play until the end of the season.

Cifuentes said (h/t Leicester Mercury): “JJ is a very important player for us. We’re very happy with him. Again, he’s a player who also wants to develop and wants to make his mark in everything we do.”
“We certainly have plans with him as a club. The most important thing is that he is happy here.”

Retaining James will be the top priority.
Leicester City have had a disappointing season and need their best players to step up if they are to finish the season strong. It will be essential to keep James at the club until the end of the season.
They also have the option to sign James permanently. It will be interesting to see if they decide to trigger this clause at the end of the season. He is a great player with a bright future and could be a star for the Foxes in the future.
Meanwhile, the midfielder is enjoying playing Championship football and could be excited to continue. He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and the Foxes could provide him with that platform. It would not be a surprise if the player earns a permanent move to Leicester City in the summer.
