Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Greek international attacker Christos Tzoris.
TEAMtalk reports that the 23-year-old is highly rated by Tottenham, with the club’s analysis and scouting department believing he is a quality player with the potential to develop into a star in the future. The report also claims that signing the international will not be easy and is likely to involve record transfer fees.
Crystal Palace are also interested in Tzoris. Meanwhile, Manchester United had scouted him a few years ago.
Christos Tzoris is in great form
Tsolis scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in all competitions last season. This season, he started 17 games and showed great performance with 7 goals and 9 assists.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham make a move to sign him. Club Brugge could demand around £35m to sell the player. If this move goes through, it would be a club record sale for them.
Spurs could use Tzoris
Tottenham have been eyeing him regularly and have the resources to sign him. It’s no secret that they are looking to further improve the quality of their side. They have been linked with several wingers such as Sabinho, Antoine Semenyo, Ademola Lookman, Magnes Akurioche and Nico Williams.
They need people who can increase their unpredictability and contribute with goals and support. The Greek International could be an ideal acquisition for them.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League would be an exciting one for the young attacker. He plans to test himself at the highest level.
If Tzoris fulfills his potential at an English club, the £35m investment could be justified in the future. Playing regular football in England will bring out the best in him and accelerate his development.
