Manchester United transfer target Kevin Filling has played down transfer speculation, insisting it doesn’t bother him at all.
The 17-year-old, who plays as a highly rated forward for AIK football, insists he is not one to think too far into the future.
This comes after Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg recently highlighted the links between Filling and Man United, claiming the Red Devils are seeking a deal but no deal has been reached yet…
Filing looks like an outstanding prospect and his potential has also attracted the interest of Borussia Dortmund, but it remains to be seen where he ends up.
However, the player himself has not given any clues, saying only that he is not the kind of person who pays attention to speculation.
Kevin Filling talks about Manchester United transfer relationship
Speaking to Sport Bladet about the Man United transfer rumors, Filling said: “You might see a picture here and there, but it doesn’t matter. For me it doesn’t do anything. I’m where I am and that’s who I am as a person.”
“Some people might think it’s difficult, but it’s not particularly for me. I’m the same as a human being. I just lock myself away a little bit, don’t think about it too much, and go on from there.”
“I always try my best. I always try to deliver the point, and probably everyone knows that.”
United often sign top young players from around the world, discovering talents such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Amad Diallo before they became big names.
Filling looks like another prospect with a lot of potential, but it’s also a promising sign that he seems to have his feet on the ground despite getting a lot of buzz early in his career.
