Manager David Ornstein has provided the latest transfer information on Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliott Anderson, who is expected to be a target for Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea this summer.

In the video clip below, The Athletic journalist believes it is very unlikely that Forest will let Anderson go in January, and says that Forest generally have no desire to sell their star midfield player.

Still, the England international is attracting plenty of interest from all the big clubs except Arsenal. Because they already have a lot of options in midfield.

Read more below as Ornstein discusses Anderson’s situation and explains that it will likely cost over £100m in the summer…

Anderson has been brilliant for Forest this season and it’s easy to see him suiting up for teams like City, United and Chelsea for years to come.

With transfer interest mounting, where will Elliott Anderson go?

Anderson’s style of play could make him the ideal long-term replacement for Rodri at the Etihad Stadium, but he would also be the ideal signing to help move this project forward for Manchester United.

Chelsea also tend to build around their best young players, so Anderson going to Chelsea could work out, perhaps as an upgrade over the unstable Enzo Fernandes.

Indeed, Arsenal lack depth in their first-choice midfield pairing of Declan Rice and Martin Zvimendi, so one would imagine that perhaps they could find a place for him.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out, but acquiring Anderson will obviously be very expensive, making it difficult for anyone who decides to push through with his signature.
