  • Connor Bradley injured: Full recovery schedule revealed, surgery scheduled
  • Conor Bradley’s Liverpool career continues to be interrupted by injury

Liverpool are facing a serious blow to their defensive options for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The club have confirmed that right-back Conor Bradley will require surgery to repair significant ligament and bone damage, effectively ending his season.

Connor Bradley injured: Full recovery schedule revealed, surgery scheduled

A new report from Football Paparazzi claims that Bradley’s injury is serious and requires immediate surgical intervention.

Surgery is scheduled for mid-January 2026, and the medical team is charting a cautious path to recovery.

Considering the complexity of repairing both ligaments and bony structures, the typical recovery time for this injury profile is estimated to be 4 to 6 months.

This timeline rules Bradley out of the remaining domestic games and Liverpool’s European tour for the remainder of the season.

The rehabilitation phase is expected to last from February to May 2026. If his recovery progresses without setbacks, the 22-year-old is expected to return to full training in June or July 2026.

The club are targeting his return date for the 2026-27 pre-season in August, allowing him to build up his fitness ahead of the new season rather than rushing him back at the end of this season.

Conor Bradley’s Liverpool career continues to be interrupted by injury

Bradley is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young players to emerge from Liverpool’s academy in recent years, but his progress has been frustratingly interrupted by fitness issues.

This latest setback continues a worrying trend for the defender, with spells on the treatment table frequently stalling his momentum.

In previous seasons, he has been plagued by back injuries and minor muscle strains that have prevented him from making consistent appearances in the first team.

For Liverpool manager Arne Slott, this leaves a huge gap in the depth of his squad and places a huge burden on his remaining defenders as the club chases silver on multiple fronts.

The hope now is that a successful surgery and a full preseason will allow Bradley to finally overcome these injury woes.
