LaMadrid has had his work visa approved and has already signed a contract with the London club. He will be announced soon. Lamadrid becomes West Ham United’s third January signing, following Pablo and Tati Castellanos.
It has been a disappointing season for the London club, but they are looking to bounce back strongly in the second half. They need quality players and it will be interesting to see if the 22-year-old Venezuelan midfielder can make an immediate impact in the Premier League.
Can LaMadrid make an immediate impact?
There is no doubt that he has the physicality and technical attributes suitable for Premier League football and will look to establish himself as a key player for West Ham. They plan to sign the player on loan, but it remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will be able to convince the team to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
West Ham currently sit 18th in the Premier League and will be desperate to maintain this position. It will be interesting to see if they can increase their performance level in the coming weeks. They will no doubt be hoping the three additions in January will help them bounce back.
Meanwhile, the opportunity to play in the Premier League would be very exciting for the Venezuelan, but it remains to be seen whether he can help the team move out of the relegation zone.
