Report: Chelsea press ahead with signing Argentine stunner for €45m this month

Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Franco Mastantuono.

The talented young Argentine has struggled to earn regular minutes at Real Madrid since his €45 million move. According to Fichajes, Chelsea are willing to give him a chance and are considering a loan move.

Real Madrid are not opposed to temporary transfers and believe that a well-planned loan could accelerate the player’s development. Mastatuono is highly regarded and has a bright future ahead of him. But he needs to play regularly to continue to grow. Sitting on the bench at a Spanish club will not do him any favors.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can get a deal over the line. They need more creativity and dynamism in midfield and the South American player could be ideal. He has the technical attributes to thrive in Premier League football and exposure to English football could help his development.

Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and it would be difficult to turn down the chance to join them. Players will be determined to get more time and this move would make a lot of sense for all parties. Chelsea will be able to strengthen their squad in the second half of the season without making large investments, and Real Madrid will be able to ensure the development of their players by gaining more experience.

The 18-year-old is expected to develop into a future star and Real Madrid will have to manage his development carefully. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will make a formal offer in response to their interest in the coming days.

Mastantuono has played 683 minutes for Real Madrid’s first team in La Liga so far, scoring one goal. He can function not only as a central attacking midfielder, but also as a winger on the right side. He could be very useful for Chelsea in the second half of the season.
