  • Liverpool plan for life without Mo Salah
  • Real Madrid are expected to enter the race to sign Yildiz

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool and Real Madrid are eyeing Kenan Yildiz, one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers.

The 20-year-old Juventus star has emerged as a top target for several elite clubs following a breakout season that cemented him as one of Serie A’s most promising players.

Yildiz, who has a contract with Juventus until 2029, has shown performances far beyond his age, appearing in 29 games in all competitions this season and scoring 16 goals.

His sharp dribbling, creative vision and ability to cut inside from the left made him a pillar of Juve’s evolving attacking system.

His versatility to play as a winger, attacking midfielder or second striker will only increase his profile among top clubs.

Liverpool plan for life without Mo Salah

Liverpool’s interest comes as they plan the future of their forward line as team dynamics evolve under Arne Slott.

With Mohamed Salah’s long-term future still uncertain and clubs evaluating promising young attackers across Europe, Yildiz perfectly fits the profile of a player who could be the long-term attacking leader at Anfield.

Liverpool have a strong history of targeting players who are entering their prime, particularly those who are rapidly improving in Europe’s top leagues.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, see Yildiz as a key candidate for the next generation, along with Jude Bellingham, Endrik, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Madrid admire young attackers with upside, so Yildiz is an obvious choice on their shortlist.

However, Juventus remain determined to keep their rising star. The club are reportedly preparing to extend his contract for another year or two, with the aim of securing his long-term future and fending off interest from the Premier League and La Liga powerhouses.

Juve see Yildiz as a key figure in the next phase of their rebuild, especially as they rebuild their squad around a younger and more dynamic profile.

For now, Juventus are focused on convincing him that continuing his development in Turin is the best step for his career.
