Chelsea are currently interested in signing Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Aslani.
The London club are looking to strengthen their attacking line-up despite signing two strikers at the start of the season. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have not performed well and Chelsea are looking at replacements. According to Fichajes, the 23-year-old has performed very well in the Bundesliga and could be a great addition for Chelsea.
Chelsea eye on transfer of Fisnik Aslani
Club officials believe they need a quality attack to compete at the highest level. Aslani’s transfer is therefore an absolute priority. The player is reportedly worth €30 million, but it remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be able to seal a deal.
It won’t be difficult to convince the young attacker to join the club. Any young player would be attracted to the idea of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. The reported valuations are also highly nominal. Chelsea have the resources to make a deal happen and should be able to persuade the player.
Spurs and Villa keen on signing Aslani
However, clubs such as Tottenham and Aston Villa have shown an interest in the player and could be preparing formal offers to sign him. Tottenham need more depth in their attacking line. Dominic Solanke hasn’t been able to score goals consistently, so they need someone who can score on a regular basis.
Aslani has shown that he can be a complete forward. Aside from his ability to find the back of the net, his link-up play and aerial prowess are very impressive. At Aston Villa, he could be a long-term replacement for Ollie Watkins.
Chelsea currently lead the race to sign him, but it remains to be seen whether they can beat their rivals. Asllani has scored seven goals and provided five assists in all competitions this season.
