Front Row Motorsports Shakeup: Gragson Gets a New Crew Chief as Team Makes Key Personnel Changes

Front Row Motorsports revealed some changes to their team personnel on Friday, highlighting a new crew chief for Noah Gragson and the No. 4 car for this season. Grant Hutchens will take over the role from Drew Brickenderfer, who will transition to competition director. Hutchens brings experience from his previous stints as a Cup crew chief, where he led nine races between 2021 and 2024 for notable drivers like Brad Keselowski, Austin Cindric, and Harrison Burton.

Meanwhile, Seth Barber remains as the team’s technical director, and Jonathan DeHart joins the organization as the aerodynamics manager. Although Brickenderfer has secured two Daytona 500 victories as a crew chief, the last season was difficult for the No. 4 team. Gragson struggled throughout the year, finishing 34th in the championship standings, with only Riley Herbst and Cody Ware, among full-time drivers, ranked lower. His top results included a single top-five and three top-10 finishes, with a best finish of fourth at Talladega. Teammates Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith ended the season 27th and 28th, respectively.

Fan Take: This move signals Front Row Motorsports’ commitment to shake things up and boost their competitiveness in the Cup Series. For NASCAR fans, Hutchens’ fresh perspective could bring exciting new strategies, potentially revitalizing Gragson’s performance and making the races more thrilling ahead.
