Player admits he is ‘very excited’ after deciding to leave Aston Villa

Yasin Ozcan is on loan at Turkish club Besiktas and is excited to get his career back on track after being frozen out at Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old defender joined the Premier League club in January but has struggled to gain regular minutes. He was loaned to Belgian club Anderlecht, but played very little there.

He is currently on loan at Besiktas as part of the deal with Tammy Abraham. The defender revealed in an interview that he is excited to give his best for the Turkish team and play more often. Besiktas are obligated to sign him permanently at the end of the season.

“I will do everything for the team and give 100% on the field. I am very excited to be working with Sergen Yalcin. The hope is to take Besiktas to the right place,” Ozkan told Sport Digital.

Ozcan has previously played in Türkiye with Kasimpasa. He knows the league well and should be able to make an impact right away. He is a talented player with great potential and regular football will allow him to bring out the best in him. Sitting on the bench at a Premier League club would have had a negative impact on his development. He was a young player with a bright future and needed a fresh start.

The 19-year-old defender will now aim to establish himself as a key player for club and country.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have added depth to their attacking line with the signing of Abraham. They have performed well this season and are third in the league table. It will be interesting to see if the former Chelsea striker can make an immediate impact and help his side qualify for next season’s Champions League.
