Sources close to the Saudi Pro League reportedly said that they are open to the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Al Nasr.
Ronaldo appears to be facing an increasingly uncertain future after refusing to play for Al Nasr in the last two games.
According to iNews, Saudi officials appear relatively relaxed about Ronaldo’s possible departure, with big goals set for the summer to soften the blow.
The Portugal international may be arguably the biggest name in world football, but the Saudi club could also turn to very attractive options such as Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
Sources of information on Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer and possible replacement
The source told iNews: “We’ll be looking at a number of other big names in the summer as other big names are leaving.
“Mohamed Salah and Bruno Fernandes would be perfect choices, especially since Salah, as a Muslim, would appeal to an Arab audience.”
“Whichever of them comes in will be huge for us with their young talent and will really soften the blow for Ronaldo.”

Fabrizio Romano comments on Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation
However, it is worth noting that highly reliable coach Fabrizio Romano has so far played down talk of Ronaldo definitely leaving Al Nasr.
Amid all the noise and speculation, Romano is calling for calm, and it may be too early to be sure whether the 41-year-old has already decided to try something new.
“As I said in yesterday’s video, let’s not overreact to Cristiano moving to MLS, Cristiano breaking his contract and this kind of thing. Let’s not overreact for now,” Romano said on his YouTube channel earlier this week.
“But for now, just to give you the latest information and news, my information is that Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in any important matches on Friday, as he has no injuries, no health issues, and no physical problems.
“So, forget about that. Cristiano is healthy, but Cristiano will not be without the team exactly as he was a few days ago. Why? Because Cristiano continues to be angry with the management of the Saudi group, especially PIF, which controls several clubs in Saudi Arabia.”
