Manchester United are adopting a cautious strategy regarding Patrick Dorg’s return from injury, with the club determined not to jeopardize the long-term development of one of their most highly-rated young players.

According to sources at X, United are prioritizing a careful rehabilitation process with the goal of returning him in early April rather than speeding up his return.

This decision demonstrates both medical prudence and the club’s commitment to protecting elite talent at a critical stage of their development.

Man United consider Dorg to be one of the outstanding prospects in their current squad.

His athleticism, versatility and composure in possession have drawn praise within the company, and the coaching staff is reportedly convinced of his long-term importance to the team’s evolution.

Dorg was injured in the closing stages (around the 81st minute) of the Premier League match between Man United and Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. He was forced to be substituted minutes after scoring a stunning long-range goal.

The club’s medical department is said to not want to risk worsening his condition by bringing him back prematurely.

This cautious approach is particularly noteworthy as United have come under fire for their injury management in recent seasons.

Dolgu injured his hamstring. Interim manager Michael Carrick initially hoped it was just a severe cramp, but subsequent medical tests confirmed a more serious hamstring problem.

Dorgu’s role within the team has steadily grown. Whether deployed defensively or in more advanced positions, he has contributed impressively to the team’s cause of late.

United’s current campaign has already been disrupted by injuries in key areas, demonstrating the importance of maintaining the depth of the team without compromising long-term assets.

By resisting the temptation to rush his recovery, the club is reinforcing its belief in his future importance.
