It has been a disappointing season so far for Tottenham, who are very close to the relegation zone.
They will aim to bounce back strongly and finish the season in the best possible way. The Guardian reports that the owners are currently looking to invest heavily over the summer and are prepared to break through the club’s rigid wage structure to bring in top-level players.

Tottenham are ready to spend big money
The Guardian reports that Tottenham have the lowest payroll costs of the Big Six clubs and owners are prepared to change this in order to bring in top-level players. Tottenham fans have been asking for more ambition in the transport market for the past few years, and it looks like their prayers may finally be answered. But first we need to ensure safety in the Premier League. If they were relegated at the end of the season, it would be financially devastating for them.
Can Tottenham turn their season around?
They brought in Igor Tudor to steady the ship and help the team bounce back strong. It remains to be seen whether the former Juventus manager will be able to make his mark. He has had a baptism of fire in the Premier League so far. Tottenham humiliated Arsenal in his first game in charge of the north London club.
He is demanding a strong response from his players for the upcoming games, but it remains to be seen whether they can step up and deliver. There is no doubt that they have a quality team and they should be even better.
It looks like there will be a major shake-up of the team in the summer, but right now it all depends on whether they can put safety first.
