The draw for the Champions League has been held, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and others considering their opponents for the Champions League’s last 16.
All six English clubs advanced to the knockout stages, with Arsenal leading the league with eight wins after the end of the league.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham also automatically qualified, with Newcastle advancing to the play-offs with a fairly comfortable win over Qarabag.
Champions League full draw, clubs know their last 16 opponents
The Champions League draw will be completed this Friday morning, and there are some draws to look forward to…
Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen
Manchester City vs Real Madrid
Chelsea vs PSG
Liverpool vs Galatasaray
Tottenham vs Atletico Madrid
Newcastle vs Barcelona
Bayern Munich vs Atalanta
Sporting Lisbon vs Bodo/Glimt
This looks like a particularly favorable draw for Arsenal, as they avoid the possibility of facing Manchester City in the quarter-finals and will instead face either Sporting Lisbon or Bodø/Glimt, putting them in a good position to advance to the semi-finals.
A potential all-English clash between Chelsea and Newcastle was avoided, but with so many Premier League clubs still in contention it would certainly be possible for the two teams to meet at some point.
Champions League knockout stage schedule

Quarterfinals: April 7-8 and 14-15
Semi-finals: April 28-29 and May 5-6
final: May 30th
