  • Michael Oliseh’s move would be huge for Liverpool

X’s post reads:Our high-level sources include: @LFC They have provided us with information that the club is in talks with Michael Oliseh’s agent and plans to trigger his release clause once personal terms are agreed. Liverpool are hoping to sign both Michael Oliseh and Yann Diomande this summer. ”

Liverpool fans will be hoping this is accurate, especially since Oliseh could be a real game-changer in his signing for the Reds.

Michael Oliseh’s move would be huge for Liverpool

Olise has scored 10 goals and provided 16 assists in 22 Bundesliga games so far this season, meaning he contributes an average of more than one goal per game.

The France international is widely regarded as one of the best attacking players in the world at the moment, and this is the caliber of player Liverpool need to sign as a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.

But at the same time, it is certain that luring Olise from Bayern would be very expensive, and it is not immediately clear whether he will be in a hurry to leave the Allianz Arena.

It’s also possible that LFC will be without Champions League football next season, which would certainly seriously hurt their chances of securing such a deal.

Yann Diomande could replace Michael Oliseh

Therefore, the link with Diomande could be important as the Leipzig youngster could work well as Olise’s replacement.

The 19-year-old is not yet at Oliseh’s level, but he definitely looks like one of the next big stars and in some ways could be an even smarter option.

We’ve seen established players like Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz struggle for Liverpool, while Hugo Ekitike has been doing great, so it might make sense again to aim for a profile like Diomand rather than Oliseh.
