Mikel Arteta wants Eduardo Camavinga to Arsenal
Arsenal are in the race to sign Eduardo Camavinga, according to reports from Spain. The Gunners are keen to further strengthen their midfield and believe the addition of the France international could significantly strengthen their midfield rotation.
Although they already have With Declan Rice, Martin Zvimendi and Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park, Arteta feels Camavinga will give him more flexibility tactically. His arrival will create even more competition for similar companies Mikel Merino and Eberechi Eze.
He’s only 23 years old, so signing him will help them both in the short and long term. His ability to play any role, not only at full-back but also in the center of the park, could definitely help the Spanish manager.
Gunners could sign Camavinga for more than €50 million
His contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2029, but the Spanish giants are willing to listen to offers for the youngster. Reports suggest that an offer of more than 50 million euros could be enough for the white-shirted side to allow him to leave.
Meanwhile, Camavinga could seriously consider the chance to join Arsenal as he would play a key role in the team aiming to take back Manchester City’s crown in English football.
