The final event of the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing moves west to the Gulf Coast for the 2026 Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort’s always challenging Copperhead Course.
Defending champion Viktor Hovland leads a strong field that includes big names like Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Akshay Bhatia, Matt Fitzpatrick, Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Cantlay and Keegan Bradley. Hovland won the title over Thomas a year ago, marking his first PGA Tour victory since the 2023 Tour Championship, and enters this week fresh off back-to-back T13 finishes at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players.
Many of the other top stars in the field performed well at TPC Sawgrass last week, most notably runner-up Fitzpatrick and Thomas, who finished in the top 10 for the first time this season, and they will be looking to carry that momentum into another challenge at Innisbrook. Valspar’s three recent winners finished between 10 and 12 under. The Copperhead course is narrow and presents difficult scoring conditions each year.
Battier and Jacob Bridgman are the only two to win from this field on the PGA Tour this season. The duo will aim to join Chris Gotterup as the only two-time champions in 2026, while the rest of the team are chasing breakthrough wins from earlier this year.
Here’s how to watch all the events happening this weekend in Palm Harbor, Florida.
