Ismael Saibari is said to be set to join Tottenham Hotspur at the end of this season.

The 25-year-old Moroccan forward has been in great form this season, contributing to 27 goals in all competitions. He would be a very useful addition to the North London club. They need a versatile attacker like him and it remains to be seen whether they will make a move to sign him.

Former Chelsea defender Khalid Boullhallows believes a move to Tottenham is the right fit for him. There is no doubt that the 25-year-old has shown his quality in Holland and is ready for the next step. A move to the Premier League could be ideal for his development. He will be able to play with better players and compete at the highest level.

“If you look at Saibari, he really played throughout the Eredivisie. If you look at his statistics and his style of play, it’s good enough to move.”

“He is a player for Morocco, he has the African Cup coming up and he will also play in the World Cup. If he starts and plays well in the two games, that’s it. After that, we have to push through,” Boulerouz told Votbar en Primeur.

He added: “Caibari needs to go to an attacking team where he can develop. It’s a great club. The team is not doing well at all, but he can add something to Tottenham Hotspur. I think he will go to a club where he can be important.”

They need a dynamic attacker like Saibari, who can help create chances for his teammates and score goals consistently. He can operate as a set forward, in an attacking midfield role as well as on the wing. His versatility could make him ideal for Tottenham. It remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a reasonable deal for him.
