Manchester United are interested in signing Newcastle United midfielder Lewis Miley at the end of the season.
According to TEAMtalk, PSG are also keeping an eye on Newcastle’s talented young midfielder. Manchester United scouts have been closely monitoring and tracking the 19-year-old since 2023.
Additionally, Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen to praise the talented young midfielder. Newcastle will not want to lose a young talent like him and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea will make a formal offer in the summer.
Newcastle still regret their decision to let Elliot Anderson leave the club and will not want to repeat their mistake. Miley could be a quality option for Newcastle in the long term and Newcastle need to do everything in their power to keep him at the club. The player’s contract with Newcastle runs until 2029, and he is under no pressure from Newcastle to sell him.
Meanwhile, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea need more creativity and control in the middle of the park, and the 19-year-old could be a long-term investment for them. They have been successful in developing young players in the past and they could play a key role in his development. The opportunity to join some of the biggest clubs in the country could be exciting for youngsters as well. However, he should focus on his development and look to play regularly. Joining a big club just to be on the sidelines as a player on the team will have a negative impact on his development.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals and provided four assists in all competitions this season. He has already played over 1200 minutes in the Premier League for Newcastle and has made an impression in the top flight. There is no doubt that he will continue to grow and become a key player for the club.
