Jose Sharme has brought in some pure goal scorers.<\/p>\n

Jeff Skinner, a veteran of 15 NHL seasons, is joining the Sharks on a one-year deal worth $3 million.<\/p>\n

At 33 years old, Skinner is a left winger who scored 30 goals back in the 2018-19 NHL season, ranking among the top 40 goal scorers. <\/p>\n

Despite seeing his average ice time drop to 13 minutes per game last season while playing with the Stanley Cup finalist Edmonton Oilers, Skinner still managed to net 16 goals.<\/p>\n

A recent tweet by Jonathan Willis highlighted the Oilers’ top 5-on-5 goal scorers by goals per hour last season, placing Skinner third with a rate of 1.01, showing his scoring efficiency even in a reduced role.<\/p>\n
