Just 41 months later, he is currently a 16-time PGA Tour winner and a three-time major champion.<\/p>\n<p>However, Open Championship Golf has become a test for the Americans. With four career starts in golf&#8217;s oldest majors, Schaeffler hasn&#8217;t finished better than the T-7, finishing outside the top 20 in two attempts. He also cooled a bit since recording his third victory of the season in the Memorial Tournament, finishing a T-7 at the US Open and a T-6 at the Travelers Championship. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the model explored the possibility of Bryson Deccanbeau getting his third major. The 31-year-old has accumulated 14 victories from around the world. He helped modernize the game in one or more ways with a single-length club, analytical style and an army of social media followers. He has also become one of the biggest major championship threats in golf, earning six top-six finishes and two major victories in the majors in his final three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>However, he is away from the cuts missed at the US Open and is also struggling to adapt to Link Golf. He missed cuts in three of his seven careers in the Open Championship, and was a pretty T-8 in 2022, but only had one top 25 finish.
