Poe Mitchell decided to leave his role at the end of June just a year later. The 41-year-old, formerly with the Rangers, directs excellent spells on the City Grounds. On this ground, we&#8217;ve seen Nuno Espirito Santo&#8217;s side go from relegated candidates to qualifying for the Europa League.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Eight, formerly an assistant sports director at Arsenal, is also a candidate Newcastle is considering. He had tentatively established a major position after Edu&#8217;s departure and before Andrea Berta arrived.<\/p>\n<p>Newcastle announced Monday that Jackloss, who was manager of Bitter rival Sunderland, has been promoted to a senior role in the club&#8217;s sports division. He previously held the position of head of strategic football partnerships, but this change is considered an indicator of the coming soon of a new sports director.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an exciting time for people involved in Newcastle. Eddie Howe has a great team, and this is expected to be an important addition along with Elanga.
