However, these negotiations were finally set up.<\/p>\n As reported by David Ornstein, Arsenal is about to agree entirely with Sporting to sign Gyoker. A breakthrough has been made in the last 24 hours, with only a few details in the way of Swedish internationals being considered to have returned to British football.<\/p>\n It is clear that signing top-level strikers is a top priority for Arsenal this summer, and they opposed the move of previous major target Alexander Isaac, but Gyoker appears to be Mikel Arteta’s next best option.<\/p>\n Arsenal doesn’t want the deal to close in the next few days. This allows Gyoker to go out to Singapore and take part in the first team’s preseason training camp.
