When Venus Williams returns to professional tennis, there is only one thing to make her even sweeter if Serena joins her. The sisters who dominated women’s matches for nearly 20 years, starting with the Australian opening in 1998 and dominated women’s matches 31 times in court, appear to have a remote chance for us to see them. Women’s tennis is currently being carried by Iga\u015bwiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and others. \u015bwiatek is a six-time major champion and her latest summer will be appearing at Wimbledon. Sabalenka has three Grand Slam titles, including the 2024 US Open and the Australians. <\/p>\n

The current world’s second largest Coco Gough, the American, won the US Open in 2023 and brought back the French Clay crown for her second major earlier this year. Gouf previously said Williams’ sisters were two idols of her in tennis and she grew up with a pair of pictures on the bedroom wall.<\/p>\n

“Without Williams’ sisters, Coco wouldn’t be a tennis player,” Coco’s mother Candy said before Wimbledon in June. “And if it wasn’t for Richard (Williams), my husband wouldn’t have studied tennis in that format. He patented himself (the family) and used their roadmap.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
