Created by Bay Area artist Sortie, Violet made her debut halftime appearance, confidently entertaining a packed crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Violet sported a white and black cheerleader outfit with her name on the back and the Valkyries logo on the front, dazzling fans with a flawless cartwheel. Her look was completed with yellow glasses, striped socks, and white sneakers. On her new social media account, Violet greeted fans with a cheerful &#8220;heyyyyy besties.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The mascot\u2019s name, Violet, draws from Valkyrie Violet, the official team color symbolizing power, ambition, nobility, and women&#8217;s empowerment\u2014values the team proudly promotes.<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the big reveal, the Valkyries teased Violet\u2019s arrival with clever hints during Bird Watchers Night. On August 7, a mysterious violet egg was spotted outside the Chase Center, sparking curiosity and expert speculation about the &#8220;bird species&#8221; inside. Violet wings were also found nearby.<\/p>\n<p>Wildlife expert Kenny Elvin described the unusual purple egg, brighter and larger than anything he\u2019d seen, as a symbol of something new and exciting hatching.
