Before Thursday, Iga\u015bwi\u0105tek’s failure to advance beyond the second round in 2019 was unable to keep that streak intact despite being pushed hard by Suzan Ramens.<\/p>\n

It looked like Schwitzk would cruise to win quickly and easily. \u015bwi\u0105tek dominated in the first set, winning nine winners and two aces 6-1. However, some misplays sunk \u015bwi\u0105tek in the second set. Two double faults and 12 forced errors proved to be to win the second set 6-4 and force the third set.<\/p>\n
