He has so far failed to register or support goals in the league.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Florian_Wirtz_was_mediocre\"><\/span>Florian Wirtz was mediocre<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Cundy revealed on Talksport that the German international went under the radar and escaped criticism despite his mediocre performance. They would have expected him to be running and establish himself as one of the best players at the club. So far, the midfielders have not been able to do that. Wirtz is still adapting to life in British football and is sure to develop into a key player for the club in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool needs to be patient at the age of 22 and develop him at his own pace.<\/p>\n<p>Wirtz was an exception at Bundesliga and helped Leverkusen win the league title. He is expected to lead Liverpool to the league title and the UEFA Champions League.
