winning the DP World India Championship by two strokes on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Fleetwood&#8217;s second win in less than two months, having finally won his first PGA Tour victory at the Tour Championship in August, where he also won the FedEx Cup.<\/p>\n<p>His golf equipment has remained largely unchanged since his win at East Lake, with the exception of one major change: Fleetwood played without a driver at Derry Golf Club this week.<\/p>\n<p>The British weren&#8217;t the only ones deciding to get rid of the big sticks. According to DP World Tour equipment research firm SMS on Tour, 42% of the field played without a driver this week, including Fleetwood&#8217;s European Ryder Cup teammates Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland.<\/p>\n<section class=\"g-block g-block-article-embed g-block-article-embed--align-right\">\n<figure>\n<div class=\"g-article-embedded__img-wrapper\">\n<p>                \n        <\/div><figcaption>\n<blockquote><p>Rory McIlroy&#8217;s superpowers are finally on the line<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/section>\n<p>Derry Golf Club&#8217;s layout is just under 7,000 yards, cut into jungle with dense brush on either side of fairways that average just 25 yards wide. McIlroy said earlier in the week that he was going to remove his driver because there was nothing anywhere that required him to hit a drive higher than 265-270 off the tee and he wanted to eliminate that temptation. <\/p>\n<p>Fleetwood primarily used a minidriver, 5-wood, and 4-iron.
