The Mexican defender has been an impressive performer for the team this season, providing both defensive solidity and attacking drives down the right flank.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Newcastle_United_defender_to_leave_in_January\"><\/span>Newcastle United defender to leave in January<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>His absence forced the Danish champions to re-evaluate their transfer priorities and, after considering several options, the club reportedly turned to Kraft, a player who fits the profile of experience, international pedigree and availability.<\/p>\n<p>Craft, 31, has found himself on the fringe at St James&#8217; Park under manager Eddie Howe.
