Leeds United are reportedly monitoring in-form Coventry City striker Haji Wright as a potential transfer target, but he is unlikely to be the club’s priority in January.<\/strong><\/p>\n The American international has been in great form since joining Coventry, scoring 40 goals in 94 games for the club, including nine in just 13 games so far this season.<\/p>\n According to Football Insider, Wright is certainly a good enough player to step up to play in the Premier League, which has led to interest from Leeds.<\/p>\n However, reporter Pete O’Rourke also revealed that he does not necessarily expect Los Blancos to make Wright one of their top priorities for the upcoming January season.<\/p>\n O’Rourke recently spoke about Wright’s situation on the Football Insider podcast:<\/p>\n “He had a very good season with Coventry, scored for the Sky Blues last season and has nine goals in 13 games this season (as of October 30), so I’m sure other clubs will be taking note of that.”<\/p>\n “I don’t think that’s a priority for Leeds, to be honest.
