Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing a possible transfer for Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt, whose future is in doubt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Germany international has been a key player for Dortmund for many years, and the Bundesliga side are unlikely to want to lose him.<\/p>\n

However, TEAMtalk reports that Brunt himself is open to a new challenge, which could give him a chance with Villa, who are one of the clubs interested.<\/p>\n

Unai Emery’s side have had a bit of a shaky start to the season, so perhaps making one or two changes to the squad in January could do the trick.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming weeks, as Brunt could add something a little different to Villa’s attack.<\/p>\n

Julian Brandt hints at possible move to Aston Villa<\/h2>\n

According to TEAMtalk, Dortmund are hoping to keep Brandt and sign him to a new contract, with the 29-year-old set to become a free agent in the summer of 2026.<\/p>\n

This means AVFC could have the chance to sign Brandt on the cheap in January, although it is not yet clear what decision the player will ultimately make.<\/p>\n

Brandt has four goals and two assists so far this season, so it would be a good thing for BVB to keep him, but he could be persuaded to stay put if he wants to continue playing regularly at a top club.<\/p>\n

However, Villa will be an interesting change of scenery for the player who has spent his entire career in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

Morgan Rodgers has been a mainstay in Villa’s attacking midfield department lately and has just signed a new contract, so it’s a boost for the Midlands side.<\/p>\n

But if they lose Rodgers in the future, it would probably be wise to replace them with someone like Blount.<\/p>\n
