Manchester United is looking to enhance their midfield lineup in the upcoming summer transfer window, aiming to cut \u00a31 million per week from their payroll. The idea is to reinvest these savings into younger, energetic players who can bring long-term benefits to manager Ruben Amorim’s team.<\/p>\n

With high earners like Casemiro, Harry Maguire, and Jadon Sancho seeing their contracts expire, and the potential departure of Marcus Rashford\u2014who currently earns \u00a3325,000 per week\u2014if he moves to a club such as Barcelona, United sees a chance to drastically reduce player costs. According to sources, this financial leeway will enable the club to target essential signings that are key for their rebuild, overseen by director of football Jason Wilcox and Amorim.<\/p>\n

United had previously shown interest in Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleva, making initial inquiries in August, but the Seagulls have set a hefty \u00a3115 million price tag on the 21-year-old Cameroon international. Additionally, they remain keen on 21-year-old Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace and 24-year-old Angelo Stiller from VfB Stuttgart.<\/p>\n\n
