I had a lot of confidence in myself, that&#8217;s the most important thing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The fourth-seeded Czech Republic was aiming to return to the semifinals for the first time since 2014.<\/p>\n<p><hl2>Germany will hold on <\/hl2> Tomas Martin Echeverry hit 23 aces and beat Jan-Renardo Struff 7-6 (3), 7-6 (7) to put Argentina ahead, but world No. 3 Alexander Zverev beat 21st-ranked Francisco Cerundro 6-4, 7-6 (3) to tie Germany.<\/p>\n<p>In doubles, Krawietz and Puetz won 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10), with both teams wasting match points.<\/p>\n<p>Argentina was aiming to advance to the semifinals for the first time since winning in 2016. Germany was a semifinalist last year.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders Italy, aiming for their third consecutive victory and fourth place overall, will face Belgium in the other semi-final.
