Tino Libramento, who has attracted strong interest from Man City, could be the next player to leave St James&#8217; Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Libramento has developed into one of the Premier League&#8217;s best full-backs since joining Newcastle from Southampton, and his ability to play on either flank has caught the attention of manager Josep Guardiola, giving him a good chance of signing him in 2026.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tino_Libramento_could_use_Man_City_as_leverage_in_contract_negotiations\"><\/span>Tino Libramento could use Man City as leverage in contract negotiations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Newcastle United&#8217;s Tino Libramento (Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Football Insider, Keith Wyness has reported that Newcastle could make a move for Libramento, with his representatives potentially looking to capitalize on Man City&#8217;s interest in securing a big-money new contract at St James&#8217; Park.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIf Libramento wants to go, it&#8217;s going to be difficult for him and if they&#8217;re still in contract negotiations, as I&#8217;m saying, they risk getting into the Isak situation again, which is really damaging and really hurt Newcastle. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo if we get the right price in January, which I think it will be, he could be on the move, but I think if that happens I think Newcastle need to open their wallets and open their checkbooks and sign a new contract.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Certainly his agent is going to use him as leverage all the way until the deal with Man City is signed, so I expect it to be a lavish deal for him to stay and that&#8217;s how they&#8217;re going to force it.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_should_Newcastle_do_about_Tino_Livramento\"><\/span>What should Newcastle do about Tino Livramento?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>There is no doubt that Newcastle should aim to renew Libramento&#8217;s contract given his importance to Eddie Howe&#8217;s side.
