The reason for this was the lack of defense.

Connor Bradley – 6 – There are some good moments ahead, but Conor Bradley still looks a little inconsistent at this level and was substituted at half-time due to injury issues.

Ibrahima Konate – 7 – We played well for the most part, better than some games this season, but we were a bit disappointed with an unnecessary yellow card.

Virgil van Dijk – 7 – He had almost perfect command at the back and posed a threat for Liverpool from set pieces, but a late clearance error allowed Richarlison to score.

Milos Kerkes – 6 – It was a subdued but solid performance from Liverpool’s left-back, who is slowly and steadily gaining confidence after a difficult start at Anfield.

Ryan Gravenbirch – 8 – Mr. Reliable in Liverpool’s midfield was once again a superb all-round performance from Ryan Gravenbirch, competing for every ball and keeping the game ticking over.

Ryan Gravenbirch reacts during Liverpool vs. Tottenham (Photo by Julian Finney/Getty Images)

Curtis Jones – 6 – Although he has put in solid performances since joining the team, he is perhaps a little too cautious with his passing, often opting for safe options when he could have done more to advance the team.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 7 – He remained one of Liverpool’s best performers this season and was once again a key man for Liverpool, but unsurprisingly his contribution was slightly lower when he was asked to play right-back again.

Alexis Mac Allister – 6 – It’s not bad, but it’s not the best either.
