Corr Motorsports is set to feature a special paint scheme on their No. 60 Ford Mustang GT4 at the opening race of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, held at the Daytona Road Course. This tribute honors Greg Biffle, a celebrated NASCAR driver who was recently lost in a tragic plane crash in Statesville, North Carolina, along with six other people, including his wife Christina and children Ryder and Emma.<\/p>\n
Biffle, who was recognized as one of NASCAR’s 75 greatest drivers, earned 56 career wins across all three of NASCAR\u2019s national series, with 53 of those victories\u2014including all 19 Cup Series wins\u2014coming while driving Fords. The Coe Motorsports car design will resemble the one Biffle drove during the 2002 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts (now Xfinity) Series championship. Drivers Evan Slater and Ray Mason will be sharing driving responsibilities for this entry.<\/p>\n
In a social media statement, the team expressed their condolences and announced the tribute: \u201cIn light of last week\u2019s tragic loss of Greg Biffle, one of NASCAR\u2019s finest and a humanitarian, along with his family and friends, KOHR Motorsports will run a tribute livery on our IMPC No. 60 Ford Mustang GT4 reminiscent of the 2002 NASCAR Busch Series Championship No. 60 Ford during the upcoming IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge events before the Rolex 24.\u201d<\/p>\n
The race is scheduled for Friday, January 23rd, with the green flag expected to wave at around 1:45 PM ET.<\/p>\n
