When placing the peg on the ground, make sure that when the driver head is placed on the ground, about half of the ball is at the top of the driver head, just above the crown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">With the driver, you want to catch the ball on the upswing. In addition to this, placing the ball slightly in front of your stance will help the club come up and catch the ball in the sweet spot. Fairway woods and hybrids<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The optimal tee height for these clubs is when the ball sits slightly above the top of the club when it rests on the ground. A common mistake is teeing the ball too high thinking it will improve the launch of the ball. However, if it is too high, there is a risk of it flying out.
